Contains the letters of actors and writers such as Eugène Brieux, Gilda Darthy, Andree Mery, Pilar Morin, J. Provost and others. Also includes a letter from Jacques Copeau, director of the Théâtre du Vieux Colombier in Paris, concerning a proposed lecture trip to America. The political and business correspondence includes letters from Senator N.A. Elsberg and members of Theodore Roosevelt's family. The collection also contains some personal correspondence, much of it addressed to Bonheur's wife Amelia Simon Bonheur.
